Classic Venturi Tube

It is widely used in measuring the flow of liquids and gases.

 

Classic Venturi Tube can be also called Classical Venturi Tube, which design, production and use are in compliance with  the stipulations of ISO 516 or GB/T 2624. It’s widely used to measure the flow of liquids and gases.

 

Main Characteristics:

 

♥Its structure is Simple and firm; its performance is stead.

♥ The loss of its pressure is small.

♥ The size of its structure is large; the size of installation is long.

♥ Generally it needs no real flow to calibrate; while it needs calibrating the real flow.

 

Technique Parameters:

 

 

♦ Mode of Taking Pressure:

It takes the pressure with the diameter pitch for the upstream part; while it takes the  pressure of the throat part for  the downstream part.

 

♦  Nominal Pressure:   ≤6.3MPa 

 

♦  DN (Nominal Diameter):   50~2200mm 

 

♦ Accuracy(Indeterminacy):  ±1.5%

 

♦ Range of application: 

     Diameter rate of the opening hole  β:   0.4≤β≤0.7     

     Range of the Reynolds number ReD :   2 *106 ≥ReD≥ 2* 105

 

     Efflux Coefficient C:  C=0.985
